If you enjoy the thrill of riding a bike on snow , try ski biking in Vail. The trails are open all winter and fat-tire bikes are welcome on all of them. You can also take guided tours and practice tricks on freestyle parks. All trails allow bicycles, including some with snow chains. In addition to bike trails, Fat-tire bikes can be used on the freestyle parks. Night skiing is also not yet available in Vail, but it is on the way.

Fat-tire bikes are allowed on all trails that allow bicycles

You can enjoy the benefits of fat-tire biking in many places, including parks. In most cases, you can ride them on roads as well as on icy trails. In winter, these bikes can handle two to three inches of snow without sinking or wallowing. Some fat bikes have studded tires. For additional safety, fat-tire bikes should be walked, not driven.
