Olympic Valley Ski and Bike is a family-owned and operated shop in Truckee, California. They offer ski rentals and demo equipment, as well as tuning and repair services. In the summer, they offer mountain biking, too. The shop has been open since 1988, but under new management. It will soon become The BackCountry Squaw Valley, similar to the one in Truckee. It is open year-round, so plan to spend a few days exploring the trails.

There are several ways to get your adrenaline pumping during your winter vacation at Olympic Valley. You can ski or bike on plowed trails to save your energy and time. For bikers, the Truckee River trail offers a scenic way to tour the Tahoe area. You can also rent bikes at Parallel Mountain Sports in Palisades Tahoe, next to the Aerial Tram building. Be sure to arrive early for your scheduled ride, as delays will add additional charges.
Located a few minutes from Squaw Valley, Olympic Village is just a short drive away. It is a family-owned business with full service ski rentals. There’s also demo ski and bike equipment, and you can even get tuning services for your bicycle or snowboard. In addition to skiing and biking, you can rent mountain bikes in the summer. Olympic Valley Ski and Bike has been open since 1988. The BackCountry will soon change its name to “The BackCountry Squaw Valley” to reflect the change in ownership and business management.

The Central Susquehanna Hammers valley mountain biking team is a part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, which has a parent association that has teams in close to 40 states. The team is composite, meaning that they have kids from a variety of different schools. Competitors in the races compete in five or six-lap courses. They compete for state championships.
Located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s state, the Hammers valley offers everything you’d want in a biking destination. Central Pa. is a rare gem. A diverse group of organizations, from local elected officials and regional visitor’s bureaus to bike clubs like BEMBA, are working together to improve the bike and mountain biking experience.
